Privacy Policy

Drift Gokart Canada (“Drift Gokart”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) and Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

1. Information we collect

When you join the waitlist or request a build quote, we collect:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Province (or “Outside Canada”)
  • Model interest and (for quotes) full build configuration
  • Optional notes you provide
  • Whether you indicated interest in wholesale or sub-dealer terms

We do not collect payment information on this site. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights for aggregate, privacy-friendly visitor metrics (these do not use cookies and do not identify individual visitors).

2. Why we collect it

Personal information is used solely to:

  • Reply to your quote request or waitlist signup
  • Send you updates about Drift Gokart product availability, release dates, and ordering
  • Coordinate delivery and configuration when you place an order

We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to third parties.

3. How it's stored and shared

Form submissions are delivered to the owner via Telegram and a confirmation email is sent to you via Resend. Site infrastructure is hosted by Vercel. Your data is processed only by these service providers and only to deliver the services described above:

By joining the waitlist or submitting a quote request, you consent to receive commercial electronic messages from Drift Gokart Canada about our products and launch. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You may also withdraw consent at any time by emailing us (see contact below); your request will be honored within 10 business days.

5. Data retention

We retain waitlist and quote information for as long as you remain interested in our product or until you request deletion. Order records are retained for 7 years to comply with Canadian tax law.

6. Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email us with your request and we will respond within 30 days.

7. Security

All form data is transmitted over HTTPS. We use rate limiting and honeypot fields to defend against abuse. We do not store credentials, payment data, or government identification numbers on this site.

8. Children

This site is intended for adult purchasers (the product is designed for supervised use by children, but the buyer is an adult). We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be noted at the top of this page with a new “Last updated” date.
